EUROPEAN CHILDREN "DANCE" IN NIS 2015 Traditional event "FRIENDSHIP MEETINGS- JOY OF EUROPE IN NIS 2015" was held in the St. Sava Hall on October 06 of Orthodox Cathedral in Nis, organized by Church -dancing ensemble "Branko". Socializing of the children of Europe, is realized under the auspices of Palilula Municipality in Nis, Directorate for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities of the Republic of Serbia, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop of Raska and Prizren Teodosije, deputy bishop of Nis in the performance of duties of diocesan bishop. Male performers and organizers of the program, numerous guests and the audience in St. Sava Hall, welcomed the Bishop of Raska and Prizren Teodosije and in the name of Palilula Municipality, as a patron of this festival Boban Džunić, the president greeted. "Here in St. Sava home tonight, looking forward to the children, their smiles, we support their development and creativity. Taking part in the event Meetings of friendship, the children were given the opportunity to meet each other and establish lasting friendships. This is our contribution to the celebration of Children's Week, which this year takes place under the motto SUPPORTING FAMILIES - BEST CHILDREN SUPPORT. Palilula Municipality, with its activities, in practice only confirms this-said the president of Palilula Municipality Boban Džunić. With songs and dances, this year's `Meetings` are opened by children from Macedonia - Choir "Zlatno slavejce" and then were members of KUD "Bozo Koroman-Mango" from Podrograd, Bosnia-Serbian Republic Republic, Children folklore ensemble "Grebenci" in Bulgaria, the dance group "Koontinuum" Niš, reciter Ilija Nedeljkovićm and winner of "May Song" - a festival of Children's cultural and educational center in Nis. Program with his colleagues attended also the Consul of the General Consulate of Bulgaria in Nis, Mr. Atanas Krstin. According to Miljko Petrovic, artistic director of the ensemble "Branko" small participants from Macedonia, Bosnia-Serbian Republic, Bulgaria and Serbia, on the stage of St. Sava Hall, with their performances marked the friendship and mutual companionship, so that this `meeting` will be remembered. "The Play," as the theme of the 46th European Children's Gathering "Joy of Europe", which preceded to this event in Nis (Belgrade from 2-5 October), is taken from the "Dictionary of Friendship" by Dusko Radovic, one of the most important Serbian literary creators. On the occasion of the first International Meeting of Children of Europe in 1969, Dusko Radovic made a "Dictionary of Friendship" by choosing fifteen words for children: child, Europe, bread, play, book, love, mother, peace, father, song, friend, bird, joy freedom and sunshine. Thanks ensemble "Branko" who is the executive organizer of "Meetings of friends - Joy of Europe 2015" and Palilula Municipality, our city after Belgrade, for one day was a place for socializing and promoting creativity of children in Europe. With the song "Children are ornament of the world," which elicited a smile on the faces of children and the awards presentation to ensembles and individuals, were completed this year's eighth meetings of children.
